Noita Gameplay - Nightmare mode - Why don't gods get angry at the worms instead of me?

Summary:
Average start but the worms were infesting the bottom of the first floor. They ate the temple like an apple. I couldn't see a portal so I went down into the tunnel only to run into teleport liquid which transported me to the next level. I got bounced around like a ball for a while but I survived but with low health. I also couldn't fly back up to the temple =/ but Steve was waiting for waiting for me anyway. Thanks for watching.
