We ended up going with the Beaumont KMG-TX Package due to its ability to get the product out to us most quickly and the referrals from some people in the community who have experience here. The reality is many of these platforms are top of the line. I list in the description the top 6 things to look for and the prices and links to these top 5 machines from hours and hours of YouTube Research. Please check this out, comment and let me know what I got right, and if I missed some key things on each or any companies well deserving also.

1. Largest Motor you can afford that is sealed and enclosed so that it won’t get material in the Motor:
“You WILL grow into a large motored machine....but if you start with a small HP motor....you will quickly outgrow it. What you're talking about are 3-phase motors. For easy explanation, you can think of a modern VFD as something that takes 220V/1-phase power and turns it into usable 3-phase power for a 3-phase motor..... by manipulating the power's frequency. This also allows for speed control. And IF the VFD is setup correctly, constant torque throughout the speed range.”

2. Variable speed. This is just crucial when you are making different use of materials so they don’t burn or erode too fast.

3. Tension and Tracking: having good Adjustable mechanisms.

4. Rubber Covered Drive Wheel. (Will eliminate Slippage in belts.)

5. Get the 220V Motor, and Get the ability to affix power in your shop.
Everyone who does this as a profession say that once you have the power to run 220, you will never go back. If you get the lower power (110) it will show when you use it on hardened metals or stronger metals quickly. There will be drag.
Ability for many functional attachments. Stay with 1 & ½” tooling arm. Its universal like a Glock.
