Pursuing a Puzzle Geocache. Originally you had to listen to morse code through the ear-piece but that became faulty. The Cache Owner then put a link on the cache page for an audio clip with the morse code sound. If you listen carefully during the video that morse code audio clip is played.

EARL WIDMAN PARK - PARK HISTORY
Formerly the Riverdale motor bike track, the original 12-acre tract of the
park, was donated to St. Louis County in December 1986 from Mr. Earl
Widman for use as a County Park. The park is required to be in perpetual
recreation use, preferably by go-karts, ATVs or motorcycles. Over the
years, more than 40 acres have been added to the park, along the Meramec
River from the mouth of the River to Mattese Creek, through the federal
FEMA flood buy out program and donations made by developers from
adjacent subdivisions.
In 1989, the Department leased a portion of the park (16.68 acres) to the St.
Louis Karting Association to provide, maintain, and manage the site for
karting purposes approved by the Department. This lease was terminated in
2001. In 2003 the race track was removed.
Widman Park is part of the Meramec Greenway.
EARL M. WIDMAN
Earl M. Widman was born in St. Louis. He was a World War II U.S.
Navy Veteran, chairman of the Board of Faball Enterprises, Inc., and was
president and founder of the Widman Harley-Davidson Dealership. He was
an American Motorcycle Association Congressman, as well as a technical
inspector and official for the organization. He was also a motorcycle racer,
and member of the United States Kart Racing Team. He was married to
Florence Heitert Widman, and they had two sons, Ron and Thomas. In 1986
Mr. Widman donated his land, which was formerly the Riverdale motor bike
track, for use as a County Park. The Earl Widman Park is required to be in
perpetual recreational use, and the St. Louis Karting Association maintains a
racing track there. Mr. Widman passed away in 1998.
