This truck is all original and I am the second owner. The gentleman passed away but, when he purchased the truck brand new in Knoxville, Tennessee. He used it for his painting business in the Oak Ridge area. The bed of the truck is 8'10" with the tool boxes on the side. The racks are homemade that carried his ladders. He use to load a old Wisconsin air compressor into the bed of the truck when needed by a built in crane in his garage. That air compressor was huge and took up about half of the bed.
The FC stands for Forward Control and the FC 170 is the longer and bigger engine then the FC 150. The cab over or FC are fun to drive and remind me of the old 68 Dodge van I had as a young man.
This Jeep FC 170 is for sale at the current time and is in great shape. The Super Hurricane engine does not run but, comes with a spare engine and parts.
