When Ian was 15 years old, he knew the college scene wasn’t for him. Instead, Ian had his eyes set on the entertainment industry. Within a couple of years, Ian scaled his business from throwing 300-person high school house parties to booking artists like Big Sean and Tyga for shows in college arenas to taking over one of Connecticut’s most well-known music venues in 2014 – all before he turned 18.

This venue was the famed Tuxedo Junction, which in its heyday hosted sold-out shows for artists from the ‘80s and ‘90s, like Joan Jett, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, and Oasis. But Tuxedo Junction started to fade from popularity until Ian came along.

As a teen, Ian turned the dying venue into an EDM destination, bringing in legends like The Chainsmokers, 3LAU, Zeds Dead, Carnage, Steve Aoki, and many more.

The craziest part? While Ian was running one of the biggest music venues in Connecticut, he was arrested by the FBI and IRS on 15 federal charges related to his prior business ventures.

After a three-week jury trial in 2015, Ian was convicted on seven counts of wire fraud and money laundering. Just after his 21st birthday, Ian was sentenced to 36 months in federal prison. Ian began his sentence in 2016 and was released in 2019.

In 2022 Ian launched BBE Entertainment and the Locked In with Ian Bick podcast. Ian’s social media accounts have surpassed 80 million views. For all business inquires: contact@ianbick.com
