Storm clouds swirl as destructive winds batter northern Texas

Dark storm clouds swirled above Decatur, Texas, as destructive winds of up to 80 mph battered the north of the state, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

“If your phones alerted and you hear sirens, that is for wind speeds as strong as a weak tornado,” the NWS tweeted. “So treat it like one! Get inside, away from windows!”
