You see, autistic people have issues with autism and sleeping or relaxing and really switching off, why?

This is all down to how the autistic brain functions, it functions very fast and processes data super quickly.

However there are ways in which an autistic person can create calm in their lives through various tips and hacks.

I have listed below what I believe to be 3 of the best strategies for creating calm in autistic people's lives.

1 The Routine
Creating a routine at the end of the day or in the middle of the day to implement rest is crucial to this process. For instance I use the evening to create this calm, I make a pot of tea, dim the lights and sit in quiet for a little bit then put on a netflix show that is creates passive viewing not making me think too much.

2 Brillia
Brillia is a non prescription homeopathic medication that is designed to create a decrease in anxiety, restlessness and irritability which is perfect for people on the autism spectrum.

3 Breaks
Regular day breaks are very much a must for autistic people. What I mean by this is, the ability to take 10 to 15 mins 2 -3 times in a day to detach from the tasks that you are currently in or doing and move away from this to something like, going for a walk, takin a nap, reading a book, having a shower. The idea is to create a break in what i call "attention strain".
