Delicious Mix Vegetable and Aloo Pakora Recipe | How to Make Pakoras at Home

: In this video, I will show you how to make crispy and delicious Mix Vegetable and Aloo Pakora recipe at home. Pakoras are a popular snack in South Asian cuisine and are enjoyed by people all over the world. This recipe is easy to follow and can be made with simple ingredients found in your kitchen.

Ingredients:

1 cup gram flour (besan)

1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)

1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)

1 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp salt

1/4 cup water (or as needed)

1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, onions, bell peppers, cauliflower, etc.), chopped

2 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and sliced

Oil for frying

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, add gram flour, carom seeds, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.

Gradually add water and whisk until a smooth batter is formed. The batter should be thick enough to coat the vegetables and potatoes.

Add the chopped mixed vegetables and sliced potatoes to the batter. Mix well until all the vegetables and potatoes are coated evenly with the batter.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

Using a spoon or your hands, drop small portions of the vegetable and potato mixture into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Remove the pakoras from the oil with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
