Use an app to monitor your workouts and calories. Here's the one I used!

Tracking calories, macros, and workouts was critical to my success in losing 92 lbs and gaining muscle last year. Some are better than others, and I'm not advocating for the MyFitnessPal app. It's not very intuitive, it has a $20 a month premium version which seems expensive to me, but the free version works well enough.
Protein, fats, and calories are what I look at primarily and the rest time is monitored by getting labs done every 90 days.
