As I demonstrate in this video, Harai Goshi is a technique that I have found to be incredibly effective in a multitude of engagements. My experience has taught me that committing to the takedown is crucial, even though it may be easy to defend against.

In one instance, I use Harai Goshi to set up a Lat Drop and then quickly follow up with a Rear Naked Choke to finish the fight. In another scenario, my opponent pulls away as I attempt the Harai Goshi, creating space that I capitalize on with a Front Head Attack. When my opponent pulls guard, I remain focused and eventually find an opening to exploit.

The Harai Goshi technique is powerful and can have dire consequences for opponents who fail to effectively counter it. However, as I demonstrate in this video, it can also be used as a means to create space and openings for further attacks.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, the Harai Goshi technique is one that you should consider incorporating into your practice. With its versatility and effectiveness in a variety of scenarios, it is a technique that can give you a significant advantage in the ring or on the mat.
