How To Make Autism Habits Work For You
These are some ways you can create working habits to help you improve your daily life with autism.
I created these habits to improve my day to day life and I think you could really benefit from these to!
1. Set A Timer.
I set a timer for taking all my medication, this includes Brillia which I take daily to help with irritability, focus and anxiety. 2. Water Look
I make a habit that every time I look over and see a cup, or a bottle I have to take a drink of water, as I forget (as do many autistic people) to drink enough water in a day. This helps me create a habit of drinking water more regular.
3. Clothing Prep
Every night before I go to bed I prep my clothes that I am going to wear for the following day, even down to my shoes. I do this because the stress of choosing in the morning when I have less time to choose as I am starting the day, is too much for me and It causes issues. So a prepping of my clothing the night before creates a strong habit of eradicating a trigger.
