DEMOCRATS TRY TO DISMANTLE THE 1ST AMENDMENT | TPS Report Live

House Oversight Committee Republicans rejected a slew of amendments to weaken their legislation against government coercion of tech platforms (HR 140) at a markup Tuesday, warning that Democrats' proposed exceptions were so vague they would gut the bill's speech protections. In the mean time, Elon Musk is helping them out by flipping on his "free speech absolutist" position by launching a ‘Zero Tolerance’ Policy on Threats of Violence With Exceptions for ‘Outrage’ and Satire.
