የአድዋ ጦርነት የመጀመሪያው ኢታሎ-ኢትዮጵያ ጦርነት ነበር። እሑድ መጋቢት 1 ቀን 1896 ዓ.ም የኢትዮጵያ ጦር የጣሊያን ወራሪ ጦር በአድዋ ከተማ አቅራቢያ ድል አደረገ።

The Battle of Adwa የዐድዋ ጦርነት( battaglia di Adua, ) was the climactic battle of the First Italo-Ethiopian War. The Ethiopian forces defeated the Italian invading force on Sunday 1 March 1896, near the town of Adwa.
