Guided Meditation (Day 1)
Welcome to this guided meditation for stress relief. If you are feeling stressed out, this practice is designed to help you relax and find a sense of inner peace.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable seated position. Sit with your back straight and your hands resting comfortably in your lap. Take a deep breath in through your nose, and as you exhale through your mouth, release any tension in your body.
Now, let's bring our attention to the breath. Begin by taking a few deep breaths, inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth. As you breathe, notice the sensation of the breath moving in and out of your body.
As you continue to breathe, imagine that with each inhale, you are breathing in calm and relaxation, and with each exhale, you are letting go of stress and tension. Visualize this process, and allow yourself to sink deeper into a state of relaxation.
Now, let's do a body scan. Starting at the top of your head, slowly move your attention down through your body, noticing any areas of tension or discomfort. As you bring your attention to each part of your body, take a deep breath in and then release any tension or discomfort as you exhale.
Continue to scan down through your body, focusing on each area and letting go of any tension or discomfort that you find. Imagine that with each exhale, you are releasing any negative energy or stress that has accumulated in your body.
Now, let's spend a few moments focusing on gratitude. Take a moment to think about something in your life that you are grateful for. It can be something big or small, but focus on it with your whole being. Allow yourself to feel a sense of gratitude and appreciation for this thing in your life.
As we come to the end of this practice, let's take a few final deep breaths, inhaling calm and relaxation, and exhaling any remaining tension or stress. When you are ready, slowly open your eyes and return to the present moment.
Take a moment to notice how you feel now compared to before the practice. Hopefully, you feel more relaxed and centered. Remember that you can return to this practice whenever you need to find a sense of calm and peace in your life. Thank you for practicing with me today.
