CHESS PUZZLE Wed March 1st, 2023

Today we have a puzzle from a blitz game won by Hou Yifan versus Alexandra Kosteniuk. Yifan won a nice little game... WHITE TO PLAY and WIN! I give the game score down below - so no cheating!

Hou Yifan is the World's highest rated female player by the MARCH 2023 FIDE Rating list... However this does not even qualify Yifan as one of the top 100 players of the World at this time as she just missed the bottom rung of that list. So few people get to the level that Hou Yifan is at that it is almost meaningless to talk about who's in the top 100 list... out of 7 Billion or however many people are alive currently. She's clearly one of the best and I look forward to seeing her future works of chess art!
