The Dot Product in Physics: Calculating the Work Done to Move an Object

In this video I go over applications of the dot product in physics and more specifically in the work done by an applied force in moving an object. When a constant force is applied to move an object, such as a wagon, at an angle relative to the direction of movement, then we are dealing with cosines and which means we can utilize the dot product. I illustrate this concept by 2 examples on applying a force to move an object a certain distance away and using the dot product to calculate the work done.
