The largest water conduit connecting the Rostov region and Donbass will start work in April this year. The progress of construction was inspected by Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Timur Ivanov.

Given the importance of the ongoing project, the Russian Ministry of Defense continues to build up a group of military builders at water pipeline facilities.

To date, more than 3200 specialists and over 1300 units of equipment have been involved in the construction.

Timur Ivanov flew over the construction areas in a helicopter and visited a number of key water pipeline facilities, where he checked the progress of the work.

Also, the deputy head of the Russian military department held a working meeting and heard reports from representatives of design and construction organizations of the Ministry of Defense.

Timur Ivanov paid special attention to compliance with the deadlines for the construction of the water conduit.

"Please do not slow down the high pace. We all understand how important the task is to provide the residents of Donbass with water as soon as possible", - said Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov.
