Machete restoration [Black machete with black wooden handle]

I used a new technique while recovering this rusty cleaver. I blackened a rusty cleaver with iron(III) chloride and coffee. I made a new handle out of ebony, which now reveals a completely black blade. When restoring an old cleaver, I had to drill, grind, file, remove rust and glue. I found this old hand tool on a flea market website and I really want it.

The cleaver was very rusty so I removed the coarse rust with a rust remover and a screwdriver. I removed the remaining rust by electrolysis. Then I made a rough contour with an angle grinder and sanded the edges on the belt sander until no more holes were visible, down to a grain size of 1000. With the help of a tool and whetstone I re-sharpened the machete. Now I've dipped an old hand tool in ferric chloride and coffee. The new wooden handle is made of ebony. Now everything needs to be put together and the black cleaver is ready.
