Today we read about Uzziah becoming the king of Judah and being afflicted with leprosy after disobeying the Lord. Jotham becomes king after Uzziah and follows the Lord. Letters to the church of Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea praise them for the good they have done but continue to warn them about having weak faith, evil people in the church, and being lukewarm.
