Ohio bank reaches $9 million settlement with DOJ for discrimination allegations

Park National Bank has reached a $9 million settlement with the Department of Justice for discriminating against people of color seeking credit services, also known as ‘redlining’. The Ohio bank will invest $8 million of the settlement in loan subsidiary programs for communities of color.
