Bible Study Series 2023 – Psalm 51 - Day #5

Psalm 51 is our study for this week. Today is Day #5 as we finish with David requested God's favore and protection on His people.

David's words to God are a plea to grace and mercy. He realizes his sin and now writes a Psalm to God, begging forgiveness. David wants God to remember him, forgive him, and heal him.

The background of this Psalm is 2 Samuel 12, where Nathan confronts David. Nathan's words to David stirred his heart, troubled his soul, and provoked his anger. David knows what he needs to do now.
