Young Girl Dies from Myocarditis following Pfizer Vaccination, Taiwan Govt Awards Family $114K

The Taiwanese VICP announced compensation awards for a total of nine cases on Feb. 9, 2023, making the allocations public on Feb. 26, 2023. The family of the young girl that died receive NT$3.5 million (US$114,000) along with NT$300,000 (US$9,800) funeral subsidies. VICP put on the record that investigators could not conclusively prove that these injuries were caused by the vaccine, there was sufficient evidence based on Article 18 of the Regulations Governing Collection and Review of Vaccine Injury Compensation Fund to make the awards.
