With the increasing construction of high-rise buildings, there is a need to develop new emergency systems. The SPARS rescue system has been created to cater to buildings that reach up to a height of 900 meters (3,000 feet). It was never used because of the costs and the space occupied by it. Too bad. It could have saved thousands of lives worldwide.
