Making My Power and HDMI Cables Hidden Behind My Wall Mount TV.

Here I Install two receptacles and communication raceways to hide the cables behind my TV. I put a receptacle below it to line up with the inside of my floating shelf that I am building. For the receptacle that I tied into, there was an in and an out there so I tied the blacks (Hot) together along with a pig tail that I then attached to the receptacle. I did the same for the whites (Neutral) therefore added my 2 new receptacles to the existing circuit.

I did a lot of research before buying and I highly recommend this wall unit as my 75" TV is 80lbs and holds it with no issues, couldn't be happier. It is rated for 185lbs and I over killed it on purpose to ensure it would be fine. Just an FYI though, DON"T use the level that comes with it as it is not true, use your own! The supplied 5/16" Lag bolts are the perfect size for the middle of the stud, just make sure you know you are in the center of it when you drill your pilot hole of 7/23".
