Attacks with unlimited damage output aren't as common as they used to be, making kyurem vmax stand out as one of the strongest and few vmax pokemon that are still very usable. Partnered with frosmoth you solve your problem of constant energy acceleration and you can keep dishing out powerful OHKOs. The biggest edge lugia vstar has over kyurem vmax is consistency. Not only in terms of getting its own energy acceleration pokemon out quicker, but archeops grabbing energies directly from the deck is just much more efficient. It doesn't mean we can't deal with it though as we can get that coveted OHKO on lugia vstar and mess its set up with a little luck carrying path to the peak in our deck.
