Targeting the wounded and killing medics is a new level of brutality in this conflict.

Ukrainian media showed how the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed and maimed people from the ambulance crews and EMERCOM rescue crews. The ambulance crews arrived on call after shelling of the Petrovsky district of the DNR capital and came under new fire. As a result of the shelling, 4 medics were killed and 10 rescuers were wounded.
