Request For Help On My Tiny Home Build

After taking down the walls of the camper with a shotgun the other day, I got out the Ryobi and started cutting the camper into pieces. My goal was to get the roof and walls off asap so I can strip the frame down to bare metal and start building my new tiny house on wheels.

I was cutting on the back side mostly to take out all support so the roof can be peeled back. I pushed the roof over so it could be tipped easier.

The back corner of the roof was hanging up so I had to take a chunk out of it first.

Once that was done, my neighbor came over with his truck to pick up some metal and I hooked a rope to the trailer hitch and looped it through the roof. With him driving and me pushing, the roof tipped right over upside down and away from my camper frame.

I had nothing but a sofa sitting there on the trailer frame and could not resist sitting there for a chat with you.

I have a request for help from you, my viewers. I will be framing my tiny house on wheels soon and I realize that I am no expert in framing. I would like to have a professional come over to help out with the framing of the walls of my tiny home.

If you are in the area, Hudson Valley, NY and have experience framing houses, please let me know if you would like to help out.

I have nothing to give you but food for your time and a tour of The Off Grid Project live in person.

The framing will be recorded and go on youtube so I will need you to sign a disclaimer allowing me to use the video online.

If you are interested in helping, please email me info@thediyworld.com

Now another point where I need advice from you, the viewer, is the subject of funding. It has often been said that I should do a crowd funding campaign. I have considered that a lot in the past but was not sure if I should. I do have a donate button on both my website and YT channel but never really pointed it out before.

Now I would like your opinion if I should go with crowd funding and get the house up before winter or just take it slow and easy as funding allows.

Please give me your opinions.

Thank you
