Finished Painting Tiny House Trailer And Cutting Lumber

Thursday I finally finished painting the tiny house trailer frame and pre cut the lumber for my floor framing.

It was wet out in the morning due to all the rain we had so I had to wait for the camper trailer frame to dry off before I could work on painting the frame.

I decided to use the time and cut the lumber for my floor joists while the trailer dried off. It is exciting to be starting on my tiny house construction now.

I cut all the joists square and to size and laid them out on the trailer frame to see how they will look.

Later after the water was dried off the camper frame I got out the generator and wire brush and cleaned off the old rust and paint from the frame.

I used some automotive spray on primer on the whole frame to prepare it properly for painting. This was followed up with some flat black spray paint to make fast work of painting the camper frame for my tiny house on wheels.

The previous oil based paint has not yet dried after many days due to the humidity so I used fast drying spray paint and finally finished the job.

Now I can build my tiny house. There is nothing holding me back now. It is very exciting.
