Elon Musk says he wants to build a city on the moon and colonize Mars so that "civilization isn't wiped out" in case of a meteor, supervolcanoes, or World War 3:

"Life insurance for life collectively."

On the over population myth, Elon Musk: "I'd rather civilization went out with a bang than a whimper in adult diapers... a bang would be World War 3"

Adding "the environmentalists agenda has kinda gone too far"
