Exposing The Camper Frame And Discussing Tiny House Plans

I finally reached my goal and got the camper frame stripped down to the bare metal. I want to build a tiny house on wheels on the old camper frame.

It took some cleaning to get all the mouse and chipmunk nests off the top of the camper frame. That and the rotted wood that was the original floor of the camper. Its amazing that whole camper did not fall apart when going down the road. There was nothing holding the old camper together but for the interior cabinets. Scary.

I had to roll off a heavy plastic sheet which was a sort of vapor barrier under the camper. This actually doubled as a protection for the frame underneath. All the rot and sopping wood from the floor would have eaten through the camper frame through the years otherwise.

Now we all get to have a look at the frame I will use to build my tiny home on wheels.
