Scorching Hot Day Studying House Framing And Tiny Home Construction

It was 92 degrees at the peak yesterday. I worked at the lumber yard for a while and then studied house framing for my tiny house on wheels in the afternoon.

I worked about 3 hours in the morning. The sun was shining brightly with not a cloud in the sky and there was no breeze. It was brutally hot out there working at the lumber yard. I was drinking gatorade and eating bananas to keep away the muscle cramps from the heat.

In the afternoon I headed to the off grid homestead and took a nap. The heat had drained me fully.

At TSC while getting chicken and cat food I found a book on house framing on sale for only $5. It was right near the entrance and sort of jumped out at me. It is like this was meant to be. I grabbed it right away.

I spent the rest of the afternoon studying house framing for my tiny home construction. This book covers every detail on house framing from the bottom up. This will greatly help me while I build my tiny home on wheels.

In the afternoon the clouds were passing over but it was still very hot so I fired up the HF generator and the AC and cooled it down in the RV a bit while I worked. At 80 degrees inside it felt cold compared to the 90+ outside.

I know how I will finish the floor of my tiny house on wheels now. I will share more details later in a video so it is perfectly clear.

The mother hen that was nesting on eggs killed every one of the chicks in the night. I have no idea why. If it was a mistake or intentional. I will never know. It is very sad though.
