Putin attends patriotic concert in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin saw on Wednesday that his country is fighting in Ukraine for its "historic lands". In a speech he delivered on the occasion of a festival organized in Moscow to support the Russian military participating in this war, he said that the military leadership had told him that "battles are taking place inside our historical lands for the sake of our people." The event, which was attended by tens of thousands of Russians, took place two days before the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of its neighbor.
