Greatest gifts to the church come from adversity (feat. Pastor Samuel Deuth)

During the pandemic, Governor Newsom’s dictate to houses of worship was clear enough: “Don’t Sing.”

It was also so ludicrous that Pastor Samuel Deuth had to do a double take. It was radically out of touch — even by Newsollini’s standards (a moniker Deuth came up with that pairs the California governor’s repressive and authoritarian- style with that of Italy’s fascist dictator).

Aside from outrageous, Deuth called it “one of the greatest gifts to the church” as it reminded the faithful to stop being afraid and to praise our Lord no matter the world’s hostility.

In this exclusive interview Pastor Deuth and Elaine Beck encourage each of us to not look for easy excuses to slip out of our God-given responsibilities.

Deuth reminds us that when we come before the judgment seat, we will not be able to simply blame the government or the school system for why things turned out poorly for us or our children. Our Lord will ask, “How did you witness to the truth?”

When enough Americans embrace this personal responsibility, Deuth is confident that God will be welcomed again into our schools, our homes and our nation.
