Processing Pallet Wood For My Tiny House Paneling

Thursday morning I had some time while waiting for my framer to arrive. I used the time to break up the pallets I just got to use for paneling inside my tiny home.

This wood will be perfect for either kitchen cabinets or paneling. Maybe both. It all depends on how much wood I get out of the pile of pallets when I am done with it.

The boards are about 2.5 inches wide by 24, 36 and 48 inches long. They are actually just a little bit longer than that which is perfect for me to cut off the ends with staples in them.

I am thinking that if there are enough of these boards then I can use them for paneling inside my tiny house on wheels. I will have to plane one side to get it clean and nice looking and simply nail them up.

I got a lot of the pallets broken down by the time my framer friend arrived. I had quite a process going on breaking them apart neat and fast.

At 2 pm my framer arrived to help frame my tiny home.
