Rainy Day Redneck Rain Water System And A Happy Surprise

Tuesday was rainy most of the day so I rigged up a sort of redneck water system with hoses and electrical tape to get water distributed in a hurry before the rain hit.

I was awake way too early so I was at The Off Grid Project at sun rise. A big bad storm with flooding was predicted. It had already left some town under water so I got ready.

I used some electrical tape and some hoses rigged up to my 275 gallon rain water collection tank. I ran the hose into the chicken water tank to fill it fast and easy. This would allow my large rain water collection tank to refill when the big storm hit.

After I got all that done, strangely the storm was dissolving right at the mountain range and never really hit me.

In the afternoon I met my framer for lunch and then we spent the whole afternoon talking about the tiny house plans.

We later went to Lowes to get lumber for my tiny house build. I got all the lumber that I will need to frame in my tiny home. I even got the rafters to put up the roof.

It is really going to happen. The tiny home will soon be built.
