Found The Motherlode Of Pallets For My Tiny Home Construction

Wednesday I found a place giving away literally hundreds of free wood pallets. This is a huge find and I picked up a load of 20 pallets in my truck right away. I will use pallets to build my tiny home with.

I have been convinced that eventually oak pallet wood flooring would be beautiful in my tiny house. This will take some time to prepare though so for now I will be using the bare plywood floor as my home floor. But later on as time permits I may start to install oak pallet wood flooring in my tiny house on wheels.

I need a thickness planer in order to use pallets on my tiny home though in order to keep the weight down.

I will be hauling more pallet wood home in the coming weeks. I love working with pallet wood and it is free and green. When you recycle a recourse such as wooden pallets you are saving the Earth's natural resources and turning something used and ugly into something useful and beautiful.

I have many ideas for using pallet wood in the future. I hope to make my own furniture in the tiny home plus the kitchen cabinets and shelving for my home.

My friend, the framer, is not coming down now. Things changed and life gets in the way sometimes. But now that I have sold some things I have enough money to frame my house. Next week I will get the materials and start to frame in my home. I cannot do it alone though so I am going to need some help.

Things are moving forward now though. I should have the house framed within a week after I get the materials.
