More Fire Wood For My Off Grid Tiny House

I finished chopping up the pile of fire wood that was in front of the tiny house. This is from the 8 trees I cut this spring. The wood has mostly cured already sitting in the intense summer sun.

Most of you will have seen the pile of wood curing out by my rock herb garden in front of my tiny house on wheels. This wood has been drying and curing nicely in the summer sun. The sun is also more intense this year so it is curing the fire wood fast.

I split all the logs to fit my tiny house wood stove. Then I hauled off 5 wheel barrow loads of the split fire wood. I stacked them on wood pallets to finish curing for this winter.

I have a lot more fire wood to split and stack before winter but I am sure that I will not go cold this winter.
