Downpouring Rain Sitting Dry In My Tiny Home Framing Wheel Well

Friday it was raining very hard but my tiny house on wheels was dry inside. This was very exciting to see and allowed me to keep working inside the house.

I started framing the second wheel well. My goal is to get the wheel wells closed in and keep out the critters while waiting for pay day so I can work on other projects.

I used almost all scrap wood to frame in the wheel well. The frame itself came from left over wood I had from the flooring. The OSB sheet came from a free pallet haul I got from a lawn and garden shop. The OSB was used as a crate for garden tractors.

The framing for the OSB and for my drop in insulation came from another free pallet haul. I used scraps that I had cut up for fire wood. They fit perfectly in the wheel well framing.

An anonymous sender sent me and Baby cat a package. We got some treats and two boxes for Baby. I also got some very nice tea and immediately made a cup of hot tea.

It was dark and raining all day so a nice hot cup of tea was perfect.

Thank you very much for the package. It is greatly appreciated.

By lunch time I had the wheel well fully framed in and the OSB nailed and glued in place.

I found some more free OSB while in town and grabbed my truck. This is from the same place I just mentioned above. There were a few pallets and some garden tractor crates made of 2x2 lumber and OSB sheets. These are perfect building materials for my tiny home.
