Testing Tiny Home Wood Stove And Finishing Kitchen Walls S31

Wednesday morning it was very cold outside but I had it nice and cozy inside the tiny house with my new wood stove going. I finished the kitchen walls of my tiny home.

The RV was damp, dark and cold in the morning, so I fired up the wood stove in the tiny house on wheels. It only took a handful of kindling wood to get the place warmed up nicely. The first batch of wood burned for about 3 hours. This is a very efficient stove.

I was using my new furniture in the tiny house while working on the computer, editing videos. It is very comfortable in the new tiny house.

In the afternoon I worked on the kitchen walls. I finished up framing in the window with furring strips and then put the rest of the radiant barrier up on the walls.

Then I put up more furring strips as nailers for the OSB sheets. I have some sheets left over from the small engine shop. I got them for free a while back. There were used one time as shipping crated for gas powered equipment. They are clean and in good shape.

I finished the kitchen walls fully. It is a good feeling to look back on my work and enjoy seeing the walls done.
