Finished Insulating My Tiny House Ceiling And Started Wood Stove Installation S27

Friday John came over and helped me finish installing the insulation in the roof of my tiny house. After that we started the installation of my wood stove.

When John arrived we immediately started on the insulation in the ceiling of my tiny home. This went very fast with the two of us. Each piece only took a few minutes to install. With two people it goes so much easier. We had the entire ceiling insulated in no time.

Next John make a platform for the wood stove while I used a wire brush and cleaned all the surface rust off of the used stove.

After I had the stove clean and free of rust, I painted it with wood stove paint to protect it and make it look nicer.

When I was done with the stove and it cured outside a while, John had just finished working on the platform where the wood stove will sit.

We brought the wood stove into my tiny cottage and placed it where it will stay. This gave us an idea of how and where the exhaust pipe will go out through the roof of my tiny house.

We moved the stove out of the way and John finished attaching the platform to the floor of my tiny house on wheels while I worked upstairs putting in more insulation in the loft bedroom.

John did a very nice job on the wood stove platform. This will give clearance for the stove on all sides for safety. Plus, most important, it will provide 4 feet of clearance between the wood stove and the stairway for safety.
