Working Upstairs In The Tiny Home New Software And Firewood Work O33

I got a lot of mixed jobs done on this day. I am working in the tiny house loft now to clean it out and get the construction materials out of the way. I am working nearly every day on fire wood for winter. And I am trying out new software for video editing at The Off Grid Project.

I am dragging old tarps out of the woods to cover my wood piles with. The church that used to keep a camper stored out here in the woods kept replacing the tarp over the camper each year. And each winter it got blown off and dragged into the woods somewhere. I am digging them out to use as a rain cover for my wood piles now. Each tarp is huge and large enough to cover a few cords of wood.

I am also stacking up all the wood that I have been cutting out in the woods to prepare for the long cold winter ahead.

I just received a gift of an old percussion cap double barreled shotgun. This is a beauty and a piece of history. Well, it will be a beauty. Sorry, I kept calling it a flintlock in the video. Had my head on backwards. Its a percussion cap black powder shotgun.

This old gun is probably about 200 years old and it is a bit rusty and shows its age. Surprisingly the action still works. One hammer is missing but I will hang it on the wall showing the other side. I plan to clean this up and display it on the wall of my tiny cottage.

Inside the tiny house I am working upstairs to get it cleaned out. At least the bedroom anyway. I cleaned out the construction materials and vacuumed the floor to get any dust and fiberglass fibers off the floor. All of the materials that I still need inside are now being kept upstairs in the guest room/study until I get that room finished as well.

I am working on a new video editing program so you may notice some changes in the videos recently. The free windows movie maker I have been using is getting worse and worse each day. It is glitching out badly. When you go to the Microsoft forum they try to tell you its the video drivers being out of date. Funny, a few days ago they were not.

So I updated the drivers and nothing changed. The program gets worse until all I see in the editor is a blank green screen.

So I downloaded a free trial version of Sony Movie Studio 13 to try out. It took me a few hours to get used to the interface but I am able to make simple videos now. I will have to buy this program soon because movie maker is not working at all now.

I am working with the video sizes and compression options. This is a very complex program compared to the free windows program so it is taking me some time. Please have patience while I work things out.

This also means that I will not be catching up on videos as fast as I had wanted to though.

The tiny house on wheels is looking nice and coming along day by day. Soon it will be a very fine home.
