John Helps Put Up A Workshop Tent For The Off Grid Homestead

I had originally invited John over for a nice meal in town on me. But John being the way he is, he wanted to jump right in and get some work done. So we went to one of my favorite stores, HF and got a portable garage to use as my new outdoor wood work shop.

We got back and immediately started to removed the old broken carport. Then we cleared out everything that had been stored underneath it.

Next we cleaned up the area where the new garage would go. It was 4:30 and would be dark in half an hour. John did not think we could get the tent put up this evening. I thought otherwise and off we went to work on the new off grid garage.

We managed to get the entire garage set up by about 6:15. This is about an hour after dark. We used my little HF 800 watt portable generator to power an LED flood light. This made work in the dark possible.

We were even able to get some of the contents of the old carport inside the new off grid wood work shop.

Thank you John for all the help once again.
