Nice Sunny Homestead Day & Finishing Up Chicken Tractor

It was another warm sunny spring day and I finished up the chicken tractor. The solar power was pouring into my off grid tiny house nicely too.

I had the chicks and ducklings outside for a while as I cleaned up their pens. They loved the fresh warm air and sun.

I finished up the wiring on the chicken tractor and then cut around the access door so I could open and close it freely.

I also put on some more trim to make the chicken tractor look nicer.

The door works very well and it is quite rugged. I am satisfied with the results.

I plan to put some heavier wire around the bottom of the chicken tractor and also run my electric fence around it for protection from predators.

I will also lay some chicken wire around the base with boards on that. This will keep anything from tunneling under the pallet wood chicken coop and getting to my birds inside.

I will later do a video showing how the doors function. I forgot to show that on this video.
