Due to the extreme dryness inside the tiny house on wheels I now have a huge pot of water on the wood stove. I am trying to increase the humidity to a higher level. Deer are in my meadow and let me walk right up to them. These are the babies I watched grow up here by my tiny house.

Some of you may remember that I have been talking to some baby deer since they were wobbly legged and spotted fawns. The two babies and their mother come close to me all the time. It is pretty cool watching them grow up next to me.

They come right into my meadow and allow me to get right up within 10 feet of them. I chase them out though so they do not eat my apple trees. The mother stands by at a safe distance and watches. I am hoping that they will cause a buck to wander near. But I will never harm these babies or their mother.

I brought home my antique Singer sewing machine. This is an old treadle powered sewing machine that still functions well and has all of the decals on it. I oiled the wood heavily so it will not dry out in the dry tiny house.

The sun was shining brightly and my solar battery bank was on absorption mode. This means that the batteries were topped off and the solar charge controller was limiting the power coming in from the solar panels.

I have my Bedini motor restoring my 4 older golf cart batteries. This is a long, slow process and will take some time.

I got some of the old barn siding inside my tiny home. I plan to use it to build some shelves inside my rustic house on wheels.

Follow my daily progress on the path to self sufficiency on my off grid solar homestead.
