Finished Bathroom Plumbing & Running Water In The Tiny House Bathroom

After framing in the tiny house bathroom sink the next step was to get water running in there. I had to run into town to get some plumbing supplies for the drain and the faucet.

After I got back I jumped right into work connecting the drain pipes for the tiny home bathroom sink.

I had to tie into the long PVC pipe running from the kitchen sink to the outside. I did not want to put anymore holes in the tiny house walls.

I cut the pipe with a hack saw and spliced it in with a PVC T connector. I had to drill a hole in the bathroom wall to fit the pipe through. I will build a cover box to hide the pipe later on. This would make a nice little shelf anyway.

The plumbing on the bottom of the sink drain went together quite well. The only thing that took some time is gluing the PVC pipe pieces together.

Next I finished connecting the tiny home bathroom sink faucet water supply. I ran the PEX pipes down under the bathroom sink and then used PEX to standard valves so I can shut off the hot and cold water individually if needed in the future.

This also allows me to leave the hot water line open and simply shut the valve. I will connect hot water in the future.

When I had all the water and drain connections finished it was time to test out the tiny house running water. I have to admit I was a bit nervous when I turned on the valve leading to the tiny home bathroom and heard water gurgling through the pipes I just put together.

But it flowed with no problem at all and no leaks. This is a very exciting moment in the tiny house on wheels.

I want to thank everyone who contributed to make this possible. Many donations from two years ago were left over from the RV renovation projects. I still have lots of PEX tubing and some fittings. The pex pliers and the cutter is also from a viewer.

Thank you all for just being there. Without you, none of this would be possible at all.
