Some Home Decorating In The Tiny House On Wheels

I had some visitors at the off grid homestead all the way from Colorado. We spent half the day together while I showed them around the homestead and the tiny house on wheels. Thank you for coming out. I had a good time.

I did not pick up my camera until after 3 in the afternoon.

I wanted to get some fragile old framed newspaper articles on the wall of my tiny house. I have said that I want to have antique decor in the tiny home.

While in town I picked up a dollar store picture framing kit and put the eye hooks and picture hanging wire on my two old newspapers.

These are now hanging next to the stairwell where they will not get any sunlight on them. They also nicely cover up the cracks in the wall and draw your attention right to them.

Some packages arrived in the mail. I got some DC DC boost inverters in the mail from someone. There was no message so I think it was directly from ebay.

I had to look them up online to figure them out. They are rated at 30 volts and 3 amps DC. These are good for use as a DC to DC converter for small devices or also in boosting solar and wind power when the voltage is below the battery voltage. This reduces wasted power when you match the voltages up.

Techman1219 sent me some replacement wind turbine blades for my large PMA alternator wind turbine. Thank you very much. I hope to get this out in the air soon. I will put it at about 10 feet high and see if I can pull some power into my solar battery banks.

It seems like I get a lot of wind at the ground level in winter. This is most likely due to the snow and frozen ground and often warmer air just above it. I plan to try different heights to find the best performance.

Someone sent me a piece of all natural leather. I am curious what you had in mind when sending this but my mind is racing with all kinds of uses for leather.

Thank you all for the gifts.

It was a mostly cloudy day so solar power was weak. I had to run the HF generator a bit while working on videos.
