Joe From Wilderness Rocks Helps At The Off Grid Homestead

Joe came over to see the progress on the tiny house on wheels and to help out at the off grid homestead for the day. Joe happened to be in the area on this day so he stopped over for a while.

I got to see his mobile stealth survival bug out van. Dont tell him I called it that. lol. Joe is a professional hiker and licensed tour guide. His daily life is survival to most normal people. The van is decked out with all the comforts of home. It even has a heater.

Joe was kind enough to take me around to run my errands. Both of my vehicles are broken at this time so Joe took me over to drop off the keys to my truck at the mechanics. I would have towed it home but the cost of the tow would have been about 2/3 the price of just having them fix it right where it broke down about 300 feet from a mechanic. So there it stays until they fix it.

We also went into New Paltz. We took the scenic route around the Shawangunk Mountains on the way. It is a beautiful ride along the edge of the mountains.

I found some LED lights at Lowes that I got cheaper due to an open box. I brought these home and put then into my antique looking Tiffany style lamp. Joe helped me as I held it up over the loft frame to see how it will look hanging up there. I love it. I cant want to get AC power in the loft and plug this in.
