Cooking Dutch Oven Pizza On My Off Grid Tiny House Wood Stove

I have not had a fun meal in a long time so while I was out grocery shopping I picked up a personal pan frozen pizza. I normally do not eat any frozen foods these days. Generally most frozen foods are not healthy but basically I also do not have a freezer either.

I got this pizza cheap and decided to try an experiment. Can I cook a frozen pizza on the wood stove? I called everyone I knew and nobody could answer the question.

So I put my pizza in a cast iron frying pan on the wood stove and put a dutch oven lid on top and waited to see what would happen.

Fortunately it turned out very nice. I cooked my first pizza in a dutch oven on the wood stove in the tiny house on wheels. This is a happy feeling.

Since it is not as cold out recently I cant just crank up the wood stove and heat up my antique tin oven which sits on top of the wood stove. I would cook myself out of the tiny house.

But my wood stove is still burning slowly and I wanted to try this out.

It did get over 84 degrees in my tiny home though even with two windows open.

But the pizza was very good.
