Homestead Cleanup & Processing Pallet Wood For Construction

There is a lot of action at the off grid homestead these days. We are getting the property ready for some tree clearing and Melanie is beautifying the place.

Chris and I picked up some pallets at the local small engine shop. I have been using the pallet wood for just about everything around the property and am running low on reserves so we picked up some more.

We immediately got to work processing and breaking down the wood to put into the storage tent for later use on projects.

Melanie is planting flowers and making the place look very nice.

We had a BBQ in the afternoon and took advantage of the nice weather.

We are cleaning out the meadow to prepare for some trucks to come through and remove a bunch of trees. This will allow us to get more sunlight on the garden and on the solar panels this year.
