Unloading Free Construction Materials For My Tiny House On Wheels

I got a free truck load of wood pallets and fresh, clean wood the other day. This was at the small engine shop in town. I happened to be passing by and saw then sitting out on the road side for free.

This wood comes from single use crates used to protect lawn mowers, snow blowers and other gas engine powered machines during delivery to the shop.

The wood is clean and new before being used to make the shipping crate.

It usually arrives in pretty good shape and most of it is quite clean.

This makes for very good construction material for my tiny house on wheels.

I am looking at the wood to put shelving under my kitchen sink and also for building the bathroom vanity and sink frame.

Finally tiny home construction can begin again after the long harsh winter months. Everything has been under snow and ice for months now with no melting and no break.

Now, with fresh wood I can start building my tiny house on wheels again.

I have been using mostly reclaimed lumber and supplies for my tiny house construction and I hope to continue to do so.
